wormo io is a turn-based strategy video game originally developed by Maxi Software and released in 1987 for the Apple II, Commodore 64, Atari 8-bit, and ZX Spectrum. The player takes control of a Worm, which must fight its way across a number of worm-infested levels using only its wits and weaponed with the ability to burrow. The game's objective is to make it to the end of the level without being eaten by any of the more than 100 different worms that will be encountered along the way.
To do this, Worms must use various weapons such as fire lances, rockets, and daggers to fight off enemy worms and their respective scorpions. In addition, Worms have special abilities like homing shots that can be used offensively or defensively against enemy worms. Worms started out as an arcade game called "TNT" (Turnable Nag), developed by Maxi Software in 1986. The name was later changed to "Worms" when they were launched on home computers in 1987 with graphics updated for vector graphics processors. It also received a sequel in 1989 called "Worms Reloaded". Both games have been rereleased on multiple platforms over time with a minor.
The Worms are back, and this time they’re cooking up some chaos in Aeryn Sun’s hometown! You see, the little green bunnies from before have hatched another batch of eggs. This time around, the worms have been storing them away for a nefarious purpose… To get to their center, you must venture through an ancient and twisted wormwood forest. The flora here is as twisted and entwined as the roots that once held it all in check. You’ll face off against a variety of deadly enemies while exploring this surreal world. From the snarling centipede to the lumbering worm, there are many challenging challenges ahead! And if you think you’ve got what it takes, you could go Viral with Aeryn.
